A warrior's deeds are recorded in his codex for all to see and so few actions call for additional ornamentation. A warrior who puts the honor of the Clan or the Clans as a whole, before his own personal honor in combat may be nominated by his peers to receive the Shield of Tseng. This award is bestowed by the saKhan to one warrior each year, and it is a particular honor because it shows selfless dedication to the Clan. A two centimeter silver shield, it is worn as a pin on the left collar of the dress uniform.
A warrior can receive this award a second time, in which case he or she instead receives the Spear of Jorgensson. In a solemn ceremony, the Khan paints a spearhead design on the pin using red enamel mixed with a drop of his own blood and a drop of the recipient's blood. Those who wear the Spear and Shield are among the Clan's elite.
The Award will appear beside the Name of the Warrior receiving the Award, on that Warrior's personal Codex Page. Additionally, Service ribbons have been added to the Clan's list of Honors. These Ribbons denote a Player's participation in various Leagues, Battles and Special Service to the Clan. Ribbons shall be awarded solely upon the Khan's discretion, with recommendations from the Keshik. These Ribbons are outlined as below, in their order of precedence. The Khan may commission new Ribbons, as required: Order of Precedence
