In an effort to expand the player base of the Clan and League, and to allow all interested players to participate, the League will be based off of IRC Chat for Battles and Meetings. The League has a Custom IRC Script available through the Clan Download Page. It is pre-configured, and all that is required, is to enter your nickname, and connect.

Speeding up your Login Process

There are several ways to speed up the Login Process with mIRC. Once you have registered, under the File Tab, you will see "Options" listed. By following this thread, you will see a listing of the different options available through mIRC. They will be listed as : Connect, IRC, Sounds, Mouse, etc. Under the "IRC" tree, the first option is "Perform"

The Perform box is where you can set mIRC to automatically execute specific tasks upon login. In this area, you should have entered:

/join #Astral-Dominion-League
/join #Clan-Ghost-Bear

And ensure the "on connect perform these commands" check box is checked. This will automatically log you on to the Channels noted above upon login.

Below is a Brief outline for setting up IRC (for those not using the League Script):

• Click on File

• Select Options

• Select "Connect" in the category box

• Then to the right you will see several buttons labeled ADD, EDIT, DELETE and SORT Click on ADD

• In the description box Type ADL IRC Server (or what ever you want to call the connection)

• In the box labeled IRC Server type in irc.astral-dominion-league.com

• In the box labeled Port type in 6667

• In the box marked Group type in ADL

• Leave the Box labeled PASSWORD blank

• Click on the button marked ADD

• This should take you back to where you select the IRC Server to connect.  In the top drop down menu labeled IRC Servers, select ADL

• Click the button labeled CONNECT TO IRC SERVER
